iPhone Appidemic: Nag: Timer Alarm
I don’t know about you, but age must be catching up on me fast, as I’ve I become more forgetful these past few days. Well, okay, that’s an overstatement. But if you do keep on forgetting to do things, you could use a little help from this useful timer alarm app called Nag. The app has been receiving raves from those who’ve used it, and the recent update has brought in some new features that you would surely love.
What is it?
Nag is a timer alarm app that lets you set an alarm for almost anything you need to do by simply pressing a single button.
What’s good about this iPhone app is that it’s not your usual alarm app with boring graphics. Instead, it gives you hi-res graphics for the main screen with several options for setting the type of alarm that you want—in 5 minutes, an hour from now, and so on. You can add additional hours before the alarm sets off, also with the press of a single button. It has good sound effects that will really raise you up in case you’re sleeping or just staring blankly into the wilderness. True to it’s name, Nag will continously nag you until you set it off.
How does it work?
It’s pretty simple. The moment you fire up Nag, the main screen displays 7 big buttons just below the main display box. The first big button is for displaying the current time and date. The rest of the buttons are options for setting the duration before your alarm will sound off. You can choose to set the alarm in 5, 10, 20, or 30 minutes and in one hour. Adding more hours is done by simply tapping the “+1h” button. Just below these big buttons are “+” and “-” for decreasing or increasing the alarm’s time. Once the alarm sounds off, you have to turn it off or else the app will nag you every minute until you do something.
Is it contagious?
If you don’t like the idea of being nagged to do something, whether to rise up from your bed or to hit those keys and start writing an article which is long overdue, you’d definitely stay away from this app. But if you appreciate nagging by way of an iPhone app and you do feel the need to be reminded of things you need to do, Nag: Timer Alarm has you covered. Its cool interface, along with doing what it is supposed to do, makes this app a must-have.
