Need help downgrading to iOS 4.1
If you want to get to 4.1 , you can restore to custom firmware . Make sure you have updated you itunes first. There are two ways to get to it. First : Use Pwnage tools 4.1.2 for Mac to create a custom firmware of 4.1, you will need the stock 4.1 fw to do that. Run Redsn0w 0.9.6b2 and browsw to Stock 4.1 ipsw. Check the box : DFU mode only. I had the same problem this morning. After going through these steps the update was succesfully. Find the solution here: Apple - Support - Discussions - Upgrade to iOS 4.2 1013 error ... 1.
