Untethered jailbreak for Verizon iPhone now available on Windows
iH8sn0w has updated its sn0wbreeze tool for Windows which brings an untethered jailbreak for the Verizon iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.7, the latest version available for the iDevice.
If you wish to perform this untethered jailbreak on your Verizon iPhone 4, you’ll first need to ensure that you have iOS 4.2.7 installed on your iPhone and sn0wbreeze downloaded and installed on your PC. You can then follow this recommended tutorial by Redmond Pie for the rest of the jailbreaking process.
If you’re on a Mac, you’re not completely out of luck; although you will have to do a bit more work in order to achieve this same untethered jailbreak, which is possible thanks to the release of the untethered jailbreak patch on Cydia.
