RUMOR: Apple backs out of rumored Grand Central Terminal retail store
“A source close to the M.T.A. has confirmed that [Apple] has backed out of plans to bring computers to commuters in an 16,000-square-foot store on the balconies of Grand Central’s main terminal,” Laura Kusisto reports for The Observer. “The negotiations were always preliminary, as The Observer reported earlier, and appear to just have fallen through,” Kusisto reports. Hardmac posted pictures of the new iPod touch
New iPod touch is coming out with a mini camera at the back. These pictures were obtained from a case manufacturer. Apple provides some case manufacturers with the size and shape of the new iPhones and iPods so they can start making the new cases before the devices come out. This doesn't allow us to know what materials Apple will use, but we can have a good idea of the shape of the future device.
